Phyllanthus�emblica fruit (Amla, Family: Phyllanthaceae) is�spherical in shape, light greenish yellow in color, smooth, and hard on appearance, with six vertical stripes. It is planted throughout the deciduous of tropical India and on the hill slopes up to 2000 m.
